The Time Chamber by Daria Song

Book review #5ย

It’s been a while.

I have been excited about this book from the very moment I ordered it for reviewing. This is the first adult coloring book Iโ€™ve owned, and Iโ€™m really enjoying choosing color combinations for various drawings. ย

I love everything about this book from itโ€™s removable plus color able dust jacket, to itโ€™s stunning images. The book is full of beautiful patterns and details, and it is hard to choose a favorite drawing from the many beautiful ones.

ย In addition to itโ€™s wonderful illustrations, we are given a short story to enjoy alongside coloring. The Time Chamber presents the adventures of a tiny fairy who decides to visit the human world. We accompany her as she packs her favorite items, and travels to discover the wonders of a new place.ย

Unlike other coloring books which provide images following just one theme, this book has a varied selection of pictures for a larger audience to enjoy. Some of these can be found minimized in the Visual index and Hidden Treasure Key found at the end of the book. All of this is made even better because of the high quality of the pages, suited for their purpose.

The only thing thing about this book that I wish was different would be itโ€™s binding. A bookbinding type such as spiral would have made it much easier for coloring in spaces close to the spine.

All in all, The Time Chamber is truly a wonderful way of loosening up after a stressful day. This book has got me into following the current trend, and I want to buy myself more coloring utensils to give my best to the book.
